Bio

Mike has been performing for audiences, in Upstate NY and throughout New England, since attending UNH in 1980. He spent over twenty years in the popular Upstate NY Irish/rock band "Hair of the Dog" and just finished a six year stint with "Get Up Jack" (w/his childhood friend/band partner John Haggerty) before moving to Cape Cod, Ma. in September of 2019. Mike, and his wife Suzie, decided to move to sunny Florida, to be more accessible for their kids (and future grand-kids). They're now making Port St. Lucie, FL their home and still plan on returning (and working) on Cape Cod for the foreseeable Summers. Meanwhile, Mike is working on playing more solo gigs near their home, including daytime work at local and regional Senior Residences. The show must go on!

"In the entertainment world, you don't often stumble upon not only a talented and versatile musician, but also a class act. I truly look forward to every note he sings. No one better!

"Mike DeAngelis and Ace Parkurst came to entertain the residents at Eddy Hawthorne Ridge for the first time recently. They were phenomenal! Not only was their musical talent and repertoire absolutely perfect, they also engaged the crowd with humor and encouraged them to sing along. They took requests and of the very few songs that they were not able to do immediately, they promised to learn them for their next visit. I immediately booked them for many more dates and can't wait for them to return. I can't recommend these artists enough!"

Mike and Ace are an amazing combination. They had our senior citizens here are Beechwood enthralled. They played songs that our seniors could sing along to. Some of our residents got a kick out of trying to stump Mike by throwing out song names he didn't know. We thoroughly enjoyed their performance and are looking forward to having them here again.
